This policy applies to stylist accounts, salon team members, and clients who use prep links on salonvision.ai.

Data We Collect

Account data (name, email, business profile details)
Client photos and generated hairstyle images
Client notes, tags, consultation reports, and prep-link activity
Usage and system logs required for security and operations
Website analytics (pages viewed, general device/browser info) collected via cookies

How We Use Data

Generate AI hairstyle previews and related consultation outputs
Support client management, prep workflows, and portfolio publishing controls
Operate, secure, and improve the platform

Sub-processors

Supabase (database, authentication, storage)
Vercel (application hosting and serverless APIs)
Google Cloud / Gemini API (AI generation and analysis)
Google Analytics (website usage measurement)

Sub-processor evidence and DPA records are maintained in our compliance files and updated as vendor terms evolve.

Cookies and Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (for example, which pages are viewed). Google Analytics sets cookies and processes limited, non-identifying usage and device data on our behalf. We do not run analytics on the client-facing appointment prep page, where clients upload their photos.

You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.

Retention and Destruction Schedule

SalonVision AI publishes the following retention schedule to align with beta operations and biometric/facial data handling requirements. Deletion requests are processed by admin workflow within policy SLA.

Your Rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data by emailing privacy@salonvision.ai. Our target response window is within 30 days.

Minors

SalonVision AI is intended for professional salon workflows. Uploading images of individuals under age 18 is prohibited.
