Terms of Service

1. Who Can Use the Service

SalonVision AI is built for professional stylists and salons. You must be at least 18 years old and use the Service for professional purposes. During the private beta, access is invite-only and may change or be withdrawn at our discretion.

2. Your Responsibility for Client Consent

You are solely responsible for obtaining informed consent from each client before uploading, generating, or storing any photo or likeness of that client. This includes consent to create AI hairstyle previews from their image and, where you choose to publish, consent to display their images in a public portfolio. You represent and warrant that you have obtained all necessary consents and rights for every image you submit.

SalonVision AI acts as a data processor on your behalf. The obligation to secure client consent rests with you, the professional who has the direct relationship with the client.

3. No Images of Minors

You may not upload, process, or store images of anyone under the age of 18. The Service is not intended for minors and must not be used to generate previews of minors.

4. Data Ownership

On individual plans (Free, Starter, Pro), the client records, saved looks, and portfolio content you create belong to your account, and move with you. On the Salon plan, client records created within a salon workspace belong to that salon workspace. In all cases, SalonVision AI stores and processes this data on your behalf as a processor and does not sell it.

5. Acceptable Use

• Do not upload images you do not have the right and consent to use.
• Do not use the Service to harass, defame, or create misleading or deceptive imagery of any person.
• Do not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or circumvent access controls or usage limits.
• Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation.

6. Public Portfolio

Looks you explicitly mark for your public portfolio may be displayed on a public SalonVision AI URL. You are responsible for ensuring you have consent to publish each client image before marking it public. You can remove a look from your public portfolio at any time from your account.

7. AI-Generated Previews

AI previews are realistic visualizations generated by a third-party model, not guarantees of a specific real-world result. Output quality depends on photo quality, lighting, and angle. Previews are a consultation aid and do not replace professional judgment.

8. Beta, Plans, and Billing

The Service is currently in private beta. Free access is provided during the beta. Paid plans activate at general launch with advance notice; early access users may lock in founding member pricing. We may modify features, limits, or pricing before general launch.

9. Termination and Data on Account Closure

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. On deletion, your personal data and stored images are handled per the retention and destruction schedule in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, including uploading images without consent or uploading images of minors.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" during beta, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SalonVision AI is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including from client images you upload without proper consent.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
